Core competencies

Reza Malekian is a Universitetlektor at Malmö University, Sweden and an Extraordinary Professor at the
University of Pretoria, South Africa. His research focuses on smart cities, sensors and Internet of Things
(IoT) applied in industrial applications which can impact people and society.

He is an associate editor for IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent
