Space Applications is an independent Belgian company founded in 1987, with a subsidiary in Houston, USA. Our aim is to research and develop innovative systems, solutions and products and provide services to the aerospace and security markets and related industries. Our activities cover manned and unmanned spacecraft, launch/re-entry vehicles, air traffic management, robotics and a wide range of information systems.
The company takes responsibility for the complete project life-cycle from establishing customer needs, designing and selecting the most appropriate technology, assembling the best team to implement the project solution and, in some cases, operating the system for the customer. Our expertise covers:

Our research and technology development activities are performed with National and European support. We participate mainly in ITEA2 (software intensive systems and services) and EC FP7 Theme 3 ICT (Robotics and Cognitive Systems & Technologies for Digital Content and Languages), Theme 6 Environment, Theme 9 Space, Theme 10 Security Research and Marie Curie actions.
