FP7/H2020-SecurityDRS-19-2014- NEXt generation Emergency Services: The NEXES
Research and Innovation Action aims to research, test and
validate the promising integration of IP-based communication
technologies and interoperability into the next generation
emergency services, so that they attain increased effectiveness
and performance.
FP7/H2020-ICTCIP-ICT-PSP.2013.1.1- CloudOpting: The main objective of
CloudOpting is to develop a set of tools that will allow Public
Administrations to share their services in the cloud, in order to
allow them to reduce investment and expenses thanks to an
aggregate demand, and the measurement and control of costs.
FP7/H2020-TransportHeERO 1. HeERO 2: CIP ICT PSP Harmonised eCall European Pilot
– Phase 1 and 2) to prepare the necessary infrastructure to build
and deploy in Europe the Pan-European in-vehicle emergency
call service eCall.
HeERO addresses the pan-European in-vehicle emergency call
service eCall based on 112, the common European Emergency
number. For three years (January 2011 to December 2013), the
nine European countries forming the HeERO 1 consortium
(Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, The
Netherlands, Romania and Sweden) carried out the start-up of an
interoperable and harmonised in-vehicle emergency call system.
CIP-ICT-PSP-2013-7- COoperative loGISTICS for sustainable
mobility of goods: Key logistics stakeholders from seven
European cities/logistics hubs (Bordeaux, Frankfurt,
Thessaloniki, Trieste, Arad,
Bilbao and Vigo) have joined forces to deploy, validate and set-
up after project life of five piloted cooperative logistics
services combining cooperative mobility services and intelligent
cargo with real-life logistical aspects. CO-GISTICS services
will increase energy efficiency and equivalent CO2 emissions,
bringing additional benefits in road safety and cargo security.
To achieve these goals public authorities, fleet operators,
freight forwarders, industrial partners and other stakeholders
jointly implement five services: CO2 Footprint Estimation and
Monitoring, Multimodal Cargo, Intelligent Truck Parking and
Delivery Area Management, Eco-Drive Support, Priority and
Speed Advice. These services will be piloted over one year of
real life driving.
National Security Research ProjectsMUROS - “Multisensory robotic system for aerial monitoring of
critical infrastructure systems. The main objective of the
project is to develop a surveillance and monitoring system with
unmanned aerial platforms for monitoring, preventing and
mitigating incidents which have an impact on critical
infrastructure (transport routes for oil products, railways, power
lines, highways etc.). The Multisensory robotic system for aerial
monitoring of critical infrastructures (MUROS) aims to develop a
experimental model system for surveillance and monitoring of
unmanned platforms for monitoring, preventing and combating
incidents impacting on critical infrastructure. The main
components of multisensory robotic system are:
 Aerial platform (UAVs - Unmanned Aerial Vehicle);
 Communication system (Data Link);
 Command Center - control of the aerial platform.
