Core competencies

MISAP employs a multidisciplinary approach (i.e. psychology, IT engineering, sociology, criminology,
computer technology) and performs applied research to:
- Software, Data Processing
- Development of risk assessment models and crime prevention strategies for public (e.g. public
administrations, public entities) and private actors (e.g. professionals and companies)
- Evaluation of crime prevention intervention
- Analysis and identification of criminogenic opportunities in legislation (crime proofing analysis)
- Analysis of criminal phenomena (i.e. organised crime, transnational crime, urban crime)
