|Project Description||The proposed solution, which has already been built a prototype, reduces the consumption of electricity from the |
chilled water production systems, and reduces the drawbacks that are generated due to its use, mainly in systems
that include towers. refrigeration.
Some ideal showcases would be complex buildings such as hospitals and data processing centers or industrial
buildings facades. The solution may be applied to other systems, currently under development by the researchers,
such as thermoelectric façade with Peltier cells or in the large areas required in the food industry. These
applications highlight the possibilities of the system once it has been analyzed its operation and performance.
The objective is to implement the system currently under development, as well as present and analyze the
preliminary results obtained. The potential of energy saving is estimated with this solution, as well as possible
applications in the civil and military.
